In a full service we will:
- Hoist the vehicle up and drain and replace the engine oil with high quality ELF engine oil.
- Replace the engine oil filter.
- Check under the vehicle for exhaust leaks, suspension wear, split steering or CV boots, fluid leaks and check tyre condition.
- Check all fluid levels and condition in the vehicle. This includes manual gearbox or automatic transmission fluids, brake fluid, power steering fluid, radiator antifreeze and battery.
- Check air filter element.
- Top up windscreen washer fluid with concentrate.
- Lube any grease points on suspension and drive shafts.
- Remove all wheels and inspect brake hoses, brake pads and disc rotors. Inspect, clean and adjust drum brakes including removing rear brakes on vehicles that have separate hand brake shoes inside the rear disc rotors.
- Rotate and inflate tyres.
- Check condition of spark plugs and ignition contacts (older vehicle) and check ignition timing.
- Clean and adjust carburetor if applicable.
- Check valve clearances (tappets) if applicable.
- Clean throttle body, air flow meter and PCV valve with solvent.
- Scan all electronic modules for faults with scan tool.
- Check condition and adjust all auxillary drive belts.
- Check cooling system for signs of leaks and concentration of antifreeze.
- Check windscreen wipers and adjust washer jets.
- Check all lights and instruments.
- Reset service indicator if applicable.
- Road test.
